Senior League

The senior team defeated Holycross Ballycahill by 2-11 to 0-12 on Sunday last. Match report available on club website at www.drominch.com.  They now face Toomevara in the county league Sunday at 12noon in the Toomevara.

Intermediate League

The Intermediates continued their county hurling league campaign with a heavy defeat at the hands of Silvermines by 1-22 to 1-9. Training continues Tuesday and Friday nights

Under 21 hurling

Our Under 21’s were defeated by Thurles Sarsfields in the opening round of the Under 21 championship in Castleiney on Thursday last. They now play Upperchurch Drombane in loser’s group on Sunday at 3pm in Templemore.

Membership

Membership is now OVERDUE for ALL players and non players. From next week on players who have not paid their membership will not received any more club texts until they have played their membership and they will not be available for selection for matches. Adult Players €50, Students €30, Non-playing adults €30, Minors & Juveniles €10. Membership can be given to Therese Fahey, Brian Costello, Pat Egan or Trevor Hassett.

Mid Under 14 football

Congrats to our under 14 players who represented the Mid division in the Under 14 football tournament and were eventual winners of the competition. All our representatives played a key role in the victory. Those players were as follows: Thomas Nolan, Ciaran Thorpe, Kevin Hassett, Emmett Maloney, Jamie Bergin, Michael Connors and Colm Kinnane. Well done also to Kevin Butler who was part of the management team.

Mid Under 15 football

Congrats to our 4 representatives who were victorious in their divisional competition last weekend also. Our representatives were Robbie Long, Paul Kennedy, Brendan Larkin and Kevin Ahearne.

Under 16’s

The 16s got off to a good start beating Upperchurch in the first round of their Football championship on Sunday morning last. They play their next match against Moyne Templetuohy in the Ragg on Monday 28th evening next at 6.30.

Feile na nGael

Our Under 14s overcame JK Bracken convincingly on Friday in the Feile mid quarter final. They now go onto play Durlas Og in the semi-final on Saturday afternoon. Time and venue to be confirmed by the Mid Bord na nOg.

Under 12

Our Under 12’s begin their football campaign against Gortnahoe Glengoole in Drom on Tuesday 29th at 6.30pm.

U6’s, U8’s & U10’s

There will be training for under 6’s & under 10’s on Saturday morning in the Ragg at 10.30.  There will be an Under 8 football blitz in Littleton on Saturday morning at 10am.
