Senior League
The senior team defeated Toomevara in Toomevara on Sunday morning last 0-19 to 0-14. Match report available on club website at www.drominch.com.
Under 21 hurling
Our Under 21’s were defeated by Upperchurch Drombane in the under 21 championship in Templemore on Sunday last by 2-9 to 0-16. This now ends our involvement in this competition. The County semi final of the football shall be played in the coming weeks.
Membership
Membership is now OVERDUE for ALL players and non players. From next week on players who have not paid their membership will not received any more club texts until they have played their membership and they will not be available for selection for matches. Adult Players €50, Students €30, Non-playing adults €30, Minors & Juveniles €10. Membership can be given to Therese Fahey, Brian Costello, Pat Egan or Trevor Hassett.
Under 18s
Our minors start their football championship taking on Moyne/Templetouhy in Templetouhy on Wednesday 30th at 6:30pm
Under 14s
Congrats and well done to our history making under 14 side who have qualified for the County semi final of the Feile na nGael after winning the Mid title on Saturday last by defeating Durlas Og and Moycarkey Borris. All the lads showed great heart and determination in grinding out victories against tough opposition. There were fantastic skills on show from the youngest to the oldest members of the team which left most spectators in awe. This is the first time since 1995 that we have won the trophy and heres hoping that the lads can be as successful as that team!! They now proceed to the County Peil on 30th April and the County Feile on Saturday May 7th.
U6’s & U8’s
This Saturday there will be training for under 6’s and under 8’s at 10.30am in the Ragg. Note ALL under 6 parents must stay for the full duration of the training and all those who have not registered previously must do so on Saturday.
Under 10s
There will be a divisional hurling blitz against Moycarkey, JK Brackens and Boherlahan in The Ragg on this Saturday 2nd April starting at 10o’clock so players must be at field by 9:45 the latest.
Under 12
Our Under 12’s start off their season on Tuesday evening 29th March against Gortnahoe in Drom at 6:45pm under the new format. Best of luck to Matthew McGrath his selectors and the team on the new venture.
Under 16’s
The under 16s continue their football campaign on Monday 4th April in Gortnahoe against Gortnahoe at 6:45pm.
