Senior
Our seniors defeated Kildangan in the latest round of the County senior hurling league on Friday evening last by 5-13 to 2-5. They now are now top of the group with just Loughmore Castleiney to play.
Junior hurling
The juniors will play challenge matches on Thursday and Saturday with throw in at 7.30 in both games. On Thursday they play Upperchurch Drombane in Drombane and Saturday they play JK Brackens in the Ragg.
Monthly Committee Meeting
The monthly committee meeting shall take place in the clubhouse in the Ragg on Wednesday 8th June.
Semple Stadium Annual Pass
Eamonn Buckley and Sheila Devaney were the winners of the annual passes for Semple Stadium which was held in the Ragg on Friday night last after the county league match.
U6’s,U8’s & U10’s
This Saturday there will be training for Under 6’s, Under 8’s at 10.30am in the Ragg. There will be an Under 10 blitz in Holycross at 10.20 Saturday.
Under 14s
Well done to the under 14 who qualified for the Under 14 A Football mid final by beating JK brackens last Monday. They now face Durlas Og in the mid final on Tuesday the 31st May at 7pm in Killea. The winners of the mid then play the county semi final on Saturday 4th June in Borrisoleigh against Nenagh Eire Óg at 12:15pm
VHI Cul Camp
It is that time of year again where the club are taking registrations for the VHI Cul Camp for 6- 13 year olds. We will be hosting another registration night this Thursday 2nd June at 8pm in The Ragg dressing rooms. It is important that all those wanting to register do so this night as orders for gear will be made very soon. Prices are as follows 1st Child €55; 2nd Child €45; 3rd and subsequent children €35.
Supporter Jerseys
Orders for supporter jerseys are also being taken on Thursday 2nd June at 8pm in the Ragg Dressing rooms or contact Niamh Butler @ 0871241716. Club polo shirts and limited amount of adult tracksuits are currently available from Willie Clohessy.
Primary Game:
Well done to Aidan O Meara (Barnane N.S), Caoimhe Bourke (Inch N.S) and Mary Grace (Drom N.S) who lined out for Tipperary in the Primary game which took place at half time of the Tipperary v Cork Munster Senior Football match in Semple Stadium. They all played very well and no doubt we shall see them playing in the Blue and Gold in the future.
Peadar Cummins Tournament
Well done to Ciaran Thorpe, Colm Kinnane, Kevin Hassett, Emmett Maloney, Thomas Nolan and Michael Connors who won the Shield final against the West on Saturday morning in Borrisoleigh. Also well done to Kevin Butler who was part of the management team.
