Senior

Our seniors defeated Loughmore Castleiney in the latest round of the Cahill Cup on Sunday last with a good victory despite both sides missing several key players. County Senior League game against Clonoulty Rossmore in the Ragg Sunday at 3pm.

 

Membership

Deadline for membership for all club members is FRIDAY night with the first round of the Munster championship approaching. Membership is now OVERDUE for ALL players and non players. There is now a list of all paid up players in the dressing room. Adult Players €50, Students €30, Non-playing adults €30, Minors & Juveniles €10. Membership can be given to Therese Fahey, Brian Costello, Pat Egan or Trevor Hassett.

Tickets for Tipp v Cork

All tickets must be ordered with Club Secretary Pat Egan by this Sunday evening the 22nd of May at 6pm. By text preferably or call after 6pm any evening on 087-2461571.
Only tickets ordered through Pat will be available from the club, if tickets are ordered in time there should be enough available for everyone, attached to this email are the ticket prices for the Cork match.
Also available are the group ticket options so please contact Pat whether its Stand, Terrace, Family, Juvenile or Adult Group tickets you’re looking for.
Tickets will only be got for paid up club members, this can still be paid on the night the tickets will be collected which will be next Monday or Tuesday night next in the
clubhouse.

Ticket prices as follows:

Covered €30

Uncovered €25

Terrace €15

Family Adult €30/€25 – Juveniles €5

Student/OAP – Concession on Stand Tickets only – pay full price and get a refund of €10 at specified Stiles on the day (on production of I.D.)

Groups

Juvenile Groups – There will be a limited number of Juvenile Groups available for this 450

game – €3 per Juvenile with a free Adult with every 10 children.

Adult Group Tickets – At the ends of the New & Old Stands – €25 pp – minimum order

per Club is 10

Group Terrace Tickets – €10 with a minimum order of 20 tickets per Club

Minor Football

Our minor footballers played their semi final against Upperchurch Drombane on Wednesday last and emerged as winners. They are now through to the final which has not been fixed yet.

 

Junior A & B:

Junior B’s play a challenge match against Cappawhite in Cappawhite on Wednesday. Players meet in the Ragg. Club text will have more details.

County Board Draw

The county board draw is currently due and promoters will be around to existing members in the next couple of weeks as the first draw is the end of the month. We would like to thank all those who are playing it and also encourage others to join as there are some fantastic prizes on offer to be won each month. If you would like to join contact any club committee member or Ambrose Purcell.

 

U6’s,U8’s & U10’s

This Saturday there will be training for Under 6’s, Under 8’s & Under 10’s at 10.30am in the Ragg.

 

Under 12s

Well done to the under 12s who won the Group 2 Football mid final on Sunday evening against a tough Moyne side. It was a closely contested game with great skill shown from both sides. Drom came out on top on a score line of 2.05 to 2.07. Both teams received medals and Drom were presented the cup from sponsor Liam Young of Liam Young Plant Sales and Mid Bord na nOg Chairman Joe Kennedy. Both teams now go onto play County ‘End Games’ against other clubs in their respective groupings. This will take place this coming Saturday afternoon 21st May with Group 2 games starting at 2pm. All support is welcome.

 

Under 14s

Our under 14s take on JK Brackens in their Football Mid Semi Final this Wednesday at 7pm in Killea.

 

Under 16s

Well done to the under 16s who defeated Durlas Og in the mid U16 football final on Monday evening in Drombane by 4-17 to 3-4. This was a fantastic performance from the team with the scores close at half time 1-9 to 1-3. There were some fantastic individual performances but overall the team as a whole performed very well and showed great skill and work rate. Well done to the team and their selectors.

 

VHI Cul camps 2011

The VHI Cul camp has been set for the 11th to 15th July. The club shall be holding a registration night on Monday 23rd May in the Ragg clubhouse from 8.15pm until 9pm.It is very important for all those interested to register on the night in order to ensure the correct gear can be ordered in the coming weeks.
