Club Lotto Jackpot Winner
Congrats to John Maher of Killough, Moycarkey who scooped the massive jackpot of €14,000 last week. Jackpot returns to €3,000 this week. We would like to thank all those who have played and hope that they would continue to do so in the future.
Minor Hurling County Final
Best of luck to our minors who face Burgess this weekend in the Replay of the county minor B hurling final in Dolla on Saturday. See county board fixtures for exact time
Camogie County final
Congratulations to our victorious camogie team who defeated Douglas of Cork to win the Munster senior camogie final on Saturday last in Bansha by 5-8 to 2-13. This was a very hard fought affair with the girls leading by 7 at one stage and then found themselves down a point with little time remaining but the true character of the team was again on show as they kicked on and got the scores needed to get in front and capturing the title. Captain Mary Looby collected the cup on behalf of the team. Well done also to Rosie Kenneally who won player of the match. The girls can now look forward to the All Ireland Semi final in the new year.
County Junior B Semi Final
Training now continues for the county final which is pencilled in for the first weekend in December against either Arravale Rovers or Newport. We urge all panel to attend training with the final creeping ever closer.
